Volves de neu is an ode to the connection with the earth’s natural cycles. A story of escape and longing for love in Iceland, as the country loses the Okjökull glacier to global warming.

Iceland’s cold landscapes sketch the emotional terrain of a person who, feeling desperately alone after a breakup, still holds onto the hope of reuniting with the one they cherish. Glaciers, wild horses, mossy meadows, and monumental quarries frame a narrative that follows the cycle of melting ice with the intent of reconnecting with the earth’s body.
