Pau Berga is a filmmaker and eclectic artist from Valencia. His work draws on Mediterranean dreamscapes, exploring the interplay between cinematic fiction and documentary.
He is currently developing the feature films A Lucid Wind and Fractal Fluid, the latter having recently received a scriptwriting grant from the ICAA, one of only 53 documentaries funded out of more than 4,000 projects. Both films emerge from his creative partnership with Luana Bovet, with whom he also co-directed the short film Tiefbau, now distributed by SwissFilms.
Since 2022, he has founded and directed the production company Crema. Under this banner, he has directed the medium-length film Artifacts Assembly, produced by Les Arts (City of Arts and Sciences) and IVAM (Institute of Modern Art), with a European broadcast through OperaVision, as well as the short film Yokohama Crows (2023), which has been selected in several international festivals.
He has also directed music videos for artists such as Nach, Vanesa Martín, Zoo, Samantha, La Raíz, Els Catarres, Smoking Souls, Sopa de Cabra, and Prozak Soup. His work has received multiple accolades, often trending on YouTube and accumulating over 50 million views. Trained as a guitarist, he alternates audiovisual production with music and stage projects.
